How?Why do we exist?
Only 1 in 20 IT engineers are women, versus 1 in 3 in less technical roles like project management - the gap is technical, not aspirational. (BCS, Diversity Report Series)
Just 22% of AI and data professionals are women, despite women being half the UK population. (The Alan Turing Institute)
The upside is the interest is there.
The Chartered Institute for IT reports AI-related degree applications from young women are rising faster than almost any other field.
The pathway just isn’t there yet, so we are.
Software. Quant. AI. Data.
