Most careers advice stops at inspiration → a talk, a poster, a one-off trip.
Preparation closes the practical gap: workshops nobody does to prepare you for the real world.
Workshops we can deliver.
Mock online tests
Numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and situational judgement tests, timed and reviewed like the real thing.
Technical interview practice
Real questions, real feedback. Students practise explaining their thinking under pressure, not just getting the right answer.
Assessment-centre technique
Group exercises, case studies and presentations - the format most students never see before the real one.
GitHub & version control
Repos, branches, commits and pull requests - the basics every technical employer expects on day one.
Coding challenge practice
Timed algorithmic problems on platforms like HackerRank and Codility - the online round most technical applications gate on.
AI tools for the workplace
Using AI coding assistants effectively and responsibly - prompting, reviewing output, and knowing when not to trust it.
CV & cover letter clinics
Turning a blank page into an application that actually gets shortlisted.
LinkedIn & personal branding
Building a profile that recruiters can actually find.
UCAS & personal statement clinics
One-to-one support turning a course list and a blank page into a submitted application.
How it works.
Schedule
One workshop a month, for the length of the partnership. Topics rotate so a full cohort sees all of them across the year.
Format
On-site. Sessions run 60-90 minutes inside a normal school day.
Delivered by
Near-peer mentors and industry volunteers who've been through the process themselves.
